Wie schmeckt Glenturret Whisky? Die kleine Brennerei ist noch nicht lange als Single Malt verfügbar. Sie gilt jedoch mit einem Gründungsjahr von 1775 als älteste noch aktive Whisky Destillerie Schottlands. Die Lalique Gruppe ist neuer Besitzer und macht den Highland Single Malt standardmäßig verfügbar. Glenturret ist ein malziger und nussiger Highland Whisky mit einem leichten Charakter. Der Spirit zeigt sich zitruslastig und getreidig. Auch eine rauchige Variante namens Ruadh Mhor wird hergestellt. Lange Zeit wurde die wunderschöne Destillerie als Markenheimat für den Famous Grouse Blended Scotch genutzt. Der Glenturret Single Malt fristete daher lange ein Schattendasein.
