Wie schmeckt Amrut Whisky? Amrut ist ein exzellenter indischer Single Malt Whisky. Bei Amrut warten süße, tropische Früchte, exotische Gewürze und je nach Abfüllung auch Torfrauch auf Dich! Amrut stellt indischen Single Malt Whisky nach schottischen Qualitätskriterien her. 100% gemälzte Gerste, mal aus Indien (unpeated), mal aus Schottland (peated), wird auf kupfernen Pot Stills zu Single Malt gebrannt. Bei Amrut bekommst Du nur natürlichen Whisky ins Glas. Denn die Brennerei aus Bangalore verzichtet gänzlich auf Farbzusätze und Kältefiltration. Durch das warme und feuchte Klima Indiens reift der indische Whisky schneller als in Schottland. Die Brennerei importiert auch rauchiges Torfmalz aus Schottland. Dadurch findest Du im Amrut Peated eine exotische Alternative zu Isaly Whiskys. Der Amrut Fusion verbindet das indische Malz mit dem schottischen und erreicht so ein leichtes Raucharoma. Schon 1948 wurde die Amrut Destillerie gegründet. Seit 2004 gibt es Amrut Single Malt am Weltmarkt. Amrut machte auf sich aufmerksam durch Blind-Verkostungen in Schottland. Dort wurde der indische Single Malt in den höchsten Tönen gelobt und meist für schottischen Whisky gehalten. Viel Spaß mit Amrut!
